Day 27: Most epic scene ever.


It’s totally the set of scenes you go through when defeating Luca Blight in Suikoden II. Three battles, a duel, and cutscenes inbetween…just to take down one guy.

Day 17: Favorite antagonist.

DIE PIGS! Luca Blight from Suikoden II is a villain done right. Someone that you’re afraid of, with lots of strength but also a pretty good brain. I can’t remember if he falls into the RPG trope of “not killing you when he can and leaving”, don’t think so. The final battle against him is one of the most epic scenes in gaming, having to go through 3 normal battles to wear him down, cutscene arrows (which usually kill!) and then a duel before he finally falls. The rest of the game and its antagonists kinda trundle along after his death.

Day 16: Game with the best cut scenes.

Just look at how goddamn pretty Valkyria Chronicles is. This is why people are pissy that the two sequels are on PSP instead of PS3. Though I can see why the creators have said that they’d really have to do a lot better, cause beating this is hard.
Let’s put in a runner up just because we can. I’ve always liked Final Fantasy IX’s cutscenes as well. Then again it is the best PS1 Final Fantasy game.
